After adjusting their marketing strategy and adding more inviting colors to their brand palette, we were able to make Biotrauma’s business concept a little less intense. Their customers are in a vulnerable position, so we knew we had to be conscious about how we approached their marketing. After doing a complete overhaul on their branding, rebuilding their website, and ensuring their collateral was cohesive, we’re proud to watch their growth in their industry.
As an estbalished brand in the crime and trauma scene cleanup indsutry, we wanted to develop the brand into something more than just the logo. Our team enahnced the brand by expanding its color palette to more than just green and blue, creating custom incons to showcase its services, and established its font family to be used across all marketing materials and its website. The branding exercise allowed us to think outside the box, creating an approachable brand that stands out among competitors in the industry.
Biotrauma is in such a unique market that their website had a very specifc purpose that it serves, and that is to give a sense of comfort to a greiving family, provide a contact number that is easy to find, as well as establish its professionalism and credibilty in the industry. Using the new brand elements, the website is now approachable. In addition, we’ve been able to build out its services pages to establish its expertise in crime and trauma scene cleaning services.
The crime and trauma scene cleanup industry is unique, as well, as the strategy behind marketing this brand to the end customer – the homeowner. The challenge is that the homeowner doesn’t know they need your services until, unfortunately, they do. But how do you marketing to someone who doesn’t need your services or is not a repeat customer? We had to get creative, and attack the plan from a different angle, targeting other referral sources such as coroners, funeral directors and local law enforcement. Once we honed in on this target audience, created a marketing strategy around this market, we were able to see Biotrauma grow and double its revenue.
Through social media channels, we established Biotrauma’s personality as approachable, professional and knowledgeable. We focused on educating its community and featuring the owner and his family. It established trust between Biotrauma and the famlies in need of their services.
Biotrauma atteneds mulitple conferences throughout the year in the Southeast. At these conferences, Biotrauma will set up a booth with marketing collateral, giveaways, and plenty of bsusiness cards to raise awareness of our services in the law enforcement community. Often at these events, there a plenty of vendors for attendees to visit and they needed to stand out among the rest. We created a booth set up that was bright and cohesive, from the table cloth to business card, it communicated the same feeling all around.
